Our CEO Neringa Šeperienė and CTO Rimas Šeperys spent a week in Vancouver, Canada attending the Web Summit Vancouver 2026 and side events on May 11th-14th.

Web Summit Vancouver – is one of the largest technology conferences in the world. This multi-day international event connects startups, investors, entrepreneurs, and technology leaders. Keynotes and panels include topics on artificial intelligence, future technology trends, digital marketing, innovation, fintech, cybersecurity and more. It’s a great opportunity to get the latest news and meet new people.

On May 11th the BrachyDOSE team attended the side event Pre-Web Summit Mixer organized by Startup Lithuania and The Lithuanian Professionals of British Columbia. The team had a nice meeting with various investors and companies from Canada that may become partnerships in the future.

On May 13th Neringa participated in the masterclass session: Built, not Hyped: What actually works in AI & Startups. Together with Karolis Arbačiauskas (Head of Product Nord Security), Paulius Taraškevičius (Founder & CEO, WhiteBridge.ai), and Frank Sondors (co-founder & CEO, Salesforge.ai ) she was sharing her experience, ups and downs that startup faces every day. The session was moderated by Milda Vilčinskaitė (Community Relations & Insights Manager, Startup Lithuania).

The BrachyDOSE team listened to a few valuable and inspiring sessions and discussions, including: Is your scaling strategy future-proved, Women leader meetup, Race from research to commercialization, The race for the resilient tech, New go-to-market blueprint, Return of the rack: are hardware and deep tech reclaiming the VC stack, How VC will evaluate your startup: the due diligence checklist, and more.

The team also spent some time exploring the exposition area, admiring the latest technology and other fascinating exhibits, and, of course, watched the grand finale of the best startup pitches.
