Meeting the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern delegation

On March 2nd, BrachyDOSE team took part in high-level meetings and networking events in Vilnius. In the morning, we met the German delegation at the Simbiocity. The delegation was led by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, together with the Minister for Economics, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labour and the Minister for Social Affairs, Health and Sports of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

We’ve listened to the presentation about BioCon Valley and had a few 1 on 1 meetings with medtech companies. After the meetings, we enjoyed lunch and informal networking.

In the evening, we attended a nice reception at the brand new VU Medical Science Center. The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Minister for Economics, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labour and the Minister for Social Affairs, Health and Sports of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Minister of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, the president of LithuaniaBIO, and the Dean of Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University opened the event with speeches. The rest of the evening was dedicated to networking.

On March 3rd the delegation came to visit Tech-Park Kaunas companies at Santaka Valley in Kaunas. We had an honor to showcase the BrachyDOSE solution and introduce the radiation measurement tools.
