BrachyDOSE seed investment

Great news! BrachyDOSE received €554 000 seed investment. The deal includes Coinvest Capital, BSV Ventures, and business angels’ networks LitBAN and EstBAN.

This investment is a big step forward for us — it brings us closer to securing MDR (Medical Devices Regulation) and CE (Conformité Européenne) certifications and launching our product to the market.

BrachyDOSE is a patient-centric, data-driven measurement tool that helps doctors’ to prevent up to 100% of treatment-caused injuries in radiotherapy procedures. The solution is hardware and software combined. Hardware: a sensor for radiation dose measurement and a reading device for data retrieval after the procedure. Software: the injury prediction algorithm giving the decision support for a doctor.

Our co-founder and CEO of BrachyDOSE Neringa Šeperienė shares her excitement: “We are grateful to the venture funds and angel investors who have supported us on our journey. This investment is a major boost that empowers BrachyDOSE team to pursue our goal – to help cancer patients avoid the side effects of radiotherapy, while enabling hospitals and doctors significantly improve cancer treatment quality”. “Once we obtain CE/MDR certification, we will be able to offer our product to both Lithuanian and international markets.”

BrachyDOSE team would like to thank our investors for their support and trust.
